South Bend Pride App — Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the South Bend Pride App, managed by The LGBTQ Center INC, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in South Bend, Indiana.

By downloading, accessing, or using this app, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Purpose of the App

This app is designed to provide up-to-date information about South Bend Pride Month events, including schedules, maps, ticket links, volunteer/vendor check-ins, and community resources. It may also be used to collect raffle entries and display event-related announcements.

2. User Data & Privacy

We respect your privacy. By using this app, you agree that:

We may collect personal data such as your name, email address, event attendance, and device information.
Data collected will be used only to improve user experience, manage event logistics (e.g., check-ins), and communicate with you about Pride-related programming.
We will not sell or share your data with third parties, except as required by law or to provide core services (e.g., sending notifications or managing raffle entries).
Anonymous usage statistics may be collected for app improvement purposes.

3. Code of Conduct

We aim to foster a safe, inclusive space for all. By using this app, you agree to:

Use the app responsibly and respectfully
Not post or submit harmful, discriminatory, or offensive content
Not misuse any features (e.g., check-in spoofing or impersonation)

Violations may result in removal of app access and disqualification from certain activities (e.g., raffles).

4. Event Participation

Event times, locations, and offerings are subject to change. We will make reasonable efforts to keep all event information current, but we are not liable for changes beyond our control.

5. Intellectual Property

All content within the app—including logos, event branding, and media—is the property of The LGBTQ Center INC unless otherwise noted. Reproduction or reuse without permission is prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

The LGBTQ Center INC is not liable for any technical issues, data loss, app outages, or personal injury incurred while attending events promoted through the app. Use is at your own risk.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted within the app. Continued use after updates signifies your acceptance of the revised terms.

South Bend Pride Festival Raffle — Terms & Conditions

Eligibility:

Participants must be 18 years or older.
No purchase is necessary to enter.
Must be present at a South Bend Pride event and check in via the official Pride app to receive an entry.
Each check-in at a designated event grants one (1) entry.

Entry Period & Eligible Events:

Raffle entries may be earned by checking in at any of the following official South Bend Pride events using the QR code in the official Pride app:

Pride in the Park @ Potawatomi Park
June 21, 2025 • 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM

All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM EST on June 21, 2025.

How to Enter:

Download the official South Bend Pride app.
Sign in and check in at participating events using the designated QR code stations to earn entries.

Prizes:

Prize details will be announced via the app and at events.
The total value of all prizes will not exceed $2,500.
Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.

Winner Selection & Notification:

Winners will be selected randomly from all eligible entries.
Winners will be contacted via the email or phone number used to register in the app.
If a winner does not respond within 5 business days, a new winner may be selected.

Additional Terms:

The raffle is conducted by The Board of Directors for The LGBTQ Center, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
By participating, you agree to allow the use of your name and/or likeness for promotional purposes.
The Board of Directors for The LGBTQ Center reserves the right to disqualify any entries suspected of fraud or misconduct.
Void where prohibited by law.
